There Is No New Character in the Beginning of Season 16
For the first time, Apex Legends is kicking off a new season without an accompanying new Legend for players to get to know. Instead, the designers have reworked the game’s class system and given each role a unique perk. Respawn has given seven characters a more comprehensive rebalance.

Team Deathmatch, much like other variations of the game mode, will be a fast-paced, team-based match offering that pits one team of six players against another. In order to win the match, a team must win two rounds by accumulating a total of 30 kills per round.
Players will also be able to choose their own loadouts at the beginning of a match and can also swap loadouts and Legends while respawning. Those that are looking to use more powerful weapons during the course of the match will be able to collect mid-round air drops for stronger firepower.
New Anniversary Collection Event in Season 16
To celebrate the FPS game’s fourth birthday, Apex Legends will be hosting an Anniversary Collection event with season 16. Log in weekly in order to collect rewards, with a total of 24 limited-time cosmetic items up for grabs. There will be additional rewards available if the community can work together, and 150 Heirloom shards available if you’re able to collect everything before the event ends.
New Weapon: Nemesis AR Burst
Season 16 also brings weapon changes, with the devs stating they plan to dethrone the R-301 and Flatline with the arrival of the new Nemesis weapon. Hipfire accuracy of all Assault rifles has been reduced, and the Anvil Receiver Hop-up will be removed entirely from the game.
New Revelry Battle Pass Rewards
The new seasonal battle pass features bold colors and striking designs, the Revelry battle pass contains 110 levels of festive, eye-catching cosmetics that are sure to make you stand out from the crowd.
The Revelry battle pass has a lot to offer--even for players who care little for fashion. Other useful items like stat trackers, Apex Packs, Apex Coins, and Crafting Metals are also scattered throughout the battle pass, and with no new legend joining the Apex Games this season, pre-existing legends are getting a little more love in the cosmetic loot department.
