Why Are FIFA 21 Servers Down on PS4?
With the FIFA 21 servers down on PS4, some players may be wondering about what's caused the problem. Unfortunately, no clear issue has been discovered just yet, although EA has stated that it is aware of the problem.

FIFA 21 had similar issues a few days ago; it's unknown if today's troubles are related to those recent issues.

July 3 11:13 pm – Connectivity issues are occurring with servers running FIFA 21 and FIFA 21 Ultimate Team mode. We are awaiting an official communication from EA Sports. New updates will follow when and if they become available.
 
June 8 8:30 am – Scheduled maintenance coming up on June 8, from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM UTC. FUT & VOLTA FOOTBALL match creation will be disabled 30 minutes prior to the maintenance in order to avoid potential mid-match disconnects. During this time, you may be disconnected or unable to connect to EA Servers on all platforms. The following Titles will be impacted: FIFA 15/16/17/18/19/20/21.
