Is there fast travel Temtem? How do you fly in Temtem? The world of Temtem is pretty big, with cities and landmarks spread across numerous floating islands. On the Cipanku island in Temtem players can unlock the ability to teleport. This useful ability makes fast traveling around the different islands much faster. This guide will explain all Temtem fast travel methods, including smoke bombs, airships and mounts.

 
 

How to Fast Travel
If you want to fast travel, there's technically two ways to do it: use either a smoke bomb or an airship. The latter is an item designed to take you to the last place you visited, while the former is a much more contextual option used to take you from island to island. We'll go over them both here.
 
Method 1: Smoke Bombs
Smoke Bombs are the only travelling method available in the game right now. These bombs are similar to Escape Rope from Pokemon that lets players go back to the last visited PokeCenter; however, Smoke Bombs in Temtem take players back to the last visited Temporium. This is not actually fast-traveling since players are limited to going back to only the last visited Temporium. Still, so far, this is the only instant travel available in the game. It really comes in handy when players have wandered far into the world in search of Temtem or NPCs, and quickly want to go back to a safe location.
 
Method 2: Mounts
Mounts aren’t in the game yet, but you can see the greyed-out option in the menu, right there at the bottom of the first column. If we were to guess, we’d say they’re going to work like mounts do in any other game – you’ll get increased movement speed, but you’ll still have to steer and press down the throttle button.
 
Method 3: Using Airships to Fast Travel in Temtem
Finally, there are airships, which are the way to properly fast travel in Temtem. There is a docked airship at Arissola, but right now, walking over to it and talking to the NPCs will result in them telling you there’s no room on the flight. Furthermore, you’ll find a number of these airship docks dotted around the map. As such, chances are we’ll be able to use airships to fast travel around Temtem’s world, but they’ve not gone live in the game just yet.
