As of July 1, completing seven different research tasks on seven different days will earn you a Research Breakthrough, giving you items, XP and a Legendary Pokemon. According to a blog post from Niantic, the pool of special Legendary Pokemon for July will include Latias, Latios, Kyogre and Groudon. Kyogre and Groudon are both the best water- and ground-type attackers, respectively, so it’s a good idea to try to catch as many of them as possible.
