Players are curious about when is Genshin Impact 1.6 Coming Out? Developer miHoYo has sent through information about the next update of Genshin Impact, and its release date is June 9, 2021.

 
 

New Inazuma Character
Genshin Impact 1.6 will see the Traveler continue on their journey, this time heading toward Inazuma, home of the Electro Archon. With the region currently blocked to outsiders, it will be up to Beidou and her Crux Fleet to smuggle the Traveler into Inazuma, traversing multiple islands in the region before finally ending up on the mainland.
 
Kazuha is a powerful five-star character who can provide buffs to the team. His Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst can deal Anemo damage to enemies, but also deal additional damage if they come into contact with Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro. Triggering a Swirl reaction can further buff Kazuha’s teammates with an Elemental Damage Bonus for their corresponding Element.
 
New Story Quests
·Midsummer Island Adventure Event- The Midsummer Island Adventure takes place in whole new area: Dodo Land! This event is similar to the Windblume Festival as it has multiple mini games for players to challenge.
·Echoing Tales Event- Collect Echoing Conches to receive precious rewards, including a new character skin feature: Barbara's new outfit, Summertime Sparkle!
·KaboomBall Kombat Event- A Dodo Fortress will shoot different types of KaboomBalls at you, which you can return with a Dodo Guard to damage the tower. Defeat as many Dodo Fortresses as you can to get the highest possible score!
·Never-Ending Battle Event- Explore Dodo Land for different Never-Ending Battle challenges, and defeat enemies at your preferred difficulty level! There will be challenge buffs and powerful Berserker enemies as well to spice things up!
·Legend of the Vagabond Sword Event- Legend of the Vagabond Sword is domain event similar to Hypostatic Symphony, with challenge quirks and difficulty multipliers. During the event, you will challenge 3 bosses: the Oceanid, a Primo Geovishap, and the all-new Maguu Kenki!

·Sea Breeze Dandelion(Jean Summer Skin) - The Sea Breeze Dandelion skin can be purchased at the shop using 1680 Genesis Crystals after the 1.6 version update.
·Summertime Sparkle(Barbara Summer Skin) - The Summertime Sparkle skin is a free skin reward upon participating in the Echoing Tales event. However, if you missed getting the skin during the event. You can buy it at the shop using Genesis Crystals.
