'Genshin Impact' Update 1.4 Release Date
Game developer miHoYo has not shared any details about "Genshin Impact" update 1.4, but the rumor mill is already moving and fans are already talking about possible inclusions in the next major update, including obtainable characters and the imminent addition of a new region. According to ScreenRant, miHoYo is keeping up with scheduled releases of game updates every six weeks, so if there are no delays, "Genshin Impact" update 1.4 might arrive on Mar. 17, given that update 1.3 came on Feb. 3, but this could change at any moment and may also depend on time zones.
 
Who are the new Genshin Impact Version 1.4 Characters?
We don't yet know who will be joining Genshin Impact in version 1.4. There are a few routes that miHoYo can go. For starters, they could introduce one of the eight characters that were leaked in late 2020. The leaker Nepnep suggests that the MIMI character from the leak will be available as a new four-star in Genshin Impact version 1.4. They also state that the long-rumored ice character, AYAKA, will be added in version 1.4 as well. ROSARIO, who players met during their time on Dragonspine is allegedly going to be featured on a version 1.4 banner, too. They'll be paired with Venti, who isn't a new character but is certainly somebody whose return has been hotly anticipated.
 
It’s also not official that Rosaria will come out in update 1.4, but there’s rumours that she will alongside a Venti re-run banner. The same insider says that Rosaria will become playable and that there will be a new “Pet Oceanid Seelie”. This pet will supposedly be obtainable from a special event during the new version.
 
There is also talk of the Hu Tao Banner finally arriving, but nothing has been confirmed yet my miYoHo.
 
For now, this is really all the details we have on Genshin Impact 1.4. The game is still working through events like the Lantern Rite festival, and there is a whole lot of content in 1.3 that players still need to experience.
 
There are some supposed “leaks” going around showing banners with multiple new 5 Star characters on them, but we are writing these off as fake for now, as it is not really the way that miYoHo have worked up to this date.
