In the last month of 2023, Lost Ark officials cannot select a large amount of content they will update this month. There will be two major updates on December 13th and 20th, one week apart. The December 13th update will include Voldis, Gargadeth Guardian Raid, new seasonal events, Proving Grounds Season 4, and more. Ivory Tower Abyss Dungeon will be released on December 20th along with Elixir of Life.

 

 

Voldis Wonderland

Voldis is a new continent with entry item level 1520 and above. The continent of Vodis is the land of sages and alchemists, and the magnificent city of Kalinar is located at the mouth of the Ketra River. The city is always crowded with tourists seeking advice from the famous saint. The city itself is beautiful and filled with adorable dwarfs who come and go as they perform errands for the citizens. Voldis was the home of the sages who delved into the many secrets of alchemy, body and soul. They are respected for their wealth of knowledge and power, and with the return of the Guardians of Chaos, their aid will play an even greater role in the coming war.

 

Outside the cities, much of the continent is covered with towering trees—all part of the Great Rainforest. The rainforest holds many mysteries and powerful monsters lurk in the shadows. Players can get help from the forest people Raiyas to enter the Tower of Sages and reach the end of the story. After the story ends, players can complete the Adventurer's Book and complete a series of short epilogue quests.

 

Endgame Update

 

Ivory Tower Abyss Dungeon

 

The Ivory Tower is a new Abyssal dungeon in Vodis with 4 gates. The starting item level is 1600 on Normal difficulty and 1620 on Hard mode. Rewards include grinding materials (Refined Protection Stone, Refined Annihilation Stone, Bright Honor Jump Stone, Honor Fragments), gold coins, special hidden rewards, and the new elixir system.

 

Elixir of life

 

Elixir is a new system that will drastically improve players' combat capabilities by infusing their equipment with powerful new effects. Therefore, it is necessary to use  Lost Ark Gold  to buy better equipment. Epic potions can be obtained through Normal mode in the Ivory Tower Abyss dungeon, while Legendary potions can be obtained through Hard mode. Once the elixir is obtained, it needs to be refined and infused into the player's equipment.

 

To refine the elixir, players first need to obtain a "ductile catalyst" by paying gold coins and chaos stones. Catalysts can also be obtained from Wandering Traders in Voldis. The refining process requires a certain amount of gold and catalysts. Players have a certain number of attempts for each refining process, and players can choose the best result based on the advice of the three sages in the tower. Players need to think carefully and make the most of the suggestions - it's important to understand the logic of the system.

 

When special conditions are met, powerful set rewards can be obtained. The refining process is unlike any other experience in Lost Ark - it relies on a certain amount of luck, but also requires players to think carefully and logically for the best outcome.
